CATH Search

You can search for general text, a CATH identifier (PDB code, domain id, CATH code, etc) or provide a FASTA sequence and perform a BLAST search of CATH domains.

Start Browsing at the top of the CATH hierarchy		Browsing the CATH database You can start browsing through the CATH tree by starting at the least discriminatory classification level (Class) then working your way through to more discriminatory collections of domains ( Architecture, Topology, then Homologous Superfamily). Searching the CATH database by ID/Keywords You can search CATH with identifiers such as: PDB codes (e.g. 1cuk) PDB chains (e.g. 1cukA) CATH domain codes (e.g. 1cukA01) CATH classification codes (e.g. 1.10.10) You can also search for general keywords in CATH (e.g. Inhibitor). Searching the CATH database by FASTA sequence You can perform a quick BLAST search of the sequences in CATH by submitting a FASTA sequence.
